questions...
In what ways is the construction of your house or apartment influenced by the climate? Knowing that Cuba has a tropical climate with two seasons - wet and dry, how do you think their housing construction would differ?
How difficult is it where you live to move to a new apartment or acquire a new house? How do you think this might differ in a socialist country such as Cuba where the government controls prices and transfer of property?
Some American homes have large front yards whereas others do not have yards at all. In what parts of the city does one find large yards? In what part of the city does one find very small yards or no yards at all? Why is there such a discrepancy?
How often do you walk or ride your bike to the store? Church? School? How do you get to these places?
Where does one see advertising in America ? Imagine there were no advertising in America . How do you think it would feel?
In Cuba there is very little product advertising. Can you imagine why?
